职位描述
Syngenta Beijing Innovation centre, the centre of excellence for genome editing is seeking for a highly responsible and self-motivated talent. As the role of cell biologist, this person will play a key role in applying modern cell biology to research and engineer plant development, establish robust cytology assays, and deliver high-quality data packages that enable trait and technology innovation, including: • Design and conduct studies on cell identity, cell fate, lineage specification, cell division, chro-mosome dynamics, and developmental patterning across target crops and tissues • Investigate cellular reprogramming, differentiation, developmental plasticity, and the coordina-tion of cell proliferation with organ growth and morphogenesis • Study nuclear architecture, chromatin dynamics, epigenetic regulation, transcriptional control, and their impact on cell-state transitions and developmental outcomes • Develop and run fit-for-purpose cytology and cell-based assays, including tissue staging, cellu-lar architecture, chromosome behavior, ploidy, viability, and developmental performance • Integrate cellular phenotyping with molecular, spatial, single-cell, single-nucleus, or low-input datasets in collaboration with omics and data-science teams • Support in vitro technology development (e.g. delivery system for transgene-free editing) • Propose new ideas, initiate and manage projects; provide expertise in cell biology to strength-en functional capability and science quality of research projects • Work closely with pipeline teams to ensure timely delivery of critical objectives and milestones
